Whenever we go to South Haven, this is the place we dine. They never disappoint! Everything we've tried has been delicious and fresh, from soups and salads to the main dish. This time, I had the meatball sandwich! The taste was so great that I wanted to eat it all... But it was so large I had to take some home. My leftovers tasted just as great the next day! I recommend this place to all my family and friends.
The best Italian food I ever had! I had the Linguine with Shrimp and my husband had Tour of Italy, we both love it! Great atmosphere and everyone is friendly. They also have gluten free option
Fine pizza indeed, but wait times can really stretch if you don't reserve a table. We tried the chicken Alfredo, the Supreme and the Vegetarian all of which were tasty, not too much dough, properly cooked, not too oily or salty- much recommended!
I'm always impressed by this place! The food, the staff, everything is top notch! They have the world's best soups and bread sticks and everything reminds me of my Italian grandmother's cooking! Huge portions! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu!!! Definitely highly recommend. Shout out to the awesome staff, Nicki, Steph, Denae (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!). The Paleramo is my all-time favorite dish, pictured, but the Lasagna is a close second! And look at those mouth-watering breadsticks! The absolute best!
Maria’s is a place I’ve wanted to visit for a while, but the parking and wait times have never worked out until now. This time I managed to have a great lunch there, and I’m happy I finally tried it. The place smells great walking in, and it’s very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the food is familiar, old-fashioned Italian cuisine done well. I tried the tour of Italy which included fettuccine Alfredo, stuffed shells, and meat ravioli. It was all delicious and very filling. The pepper jack crab soup I ordered was delicious, but definitely too much, but who can say no to that. I’d definitely recommend Maria’s if you’re in the South Haven area with a hankering for Italian food; it’s well worth a visit.
It did take a half hour after we ordered for us to get our meal but it was piping hot and absolutely wonderful. The dinner my group ordered each individual was so filling all of us ended up packing it up and having to finish it later. It was so delicious and absolutely worth the wait in my opinion it was very delightful, and we appreciated the cheery nature of the servers!! Definitely at the top of my list restaurants in Michigan!!!
Fabulous! I’m sorry we waited so long to try it here. My wife and daughter had the lasagna and I had, my favorite, chicken parmigiana. Giant servings and everything tasted fantastic. Can’t wait to come back and try the Margarita Pizza. Came back and tried the Margarita Pizza and it was fantastic. 5 Star delicious. Went again today and returned to the chicken Parmesan. Terrific as always. Only one problem/. With so many options it is getting harder and harder to decided what to get. Next time I’m getting the carbonara Pasta.
When I say a beautiful experience I mean it. Not only the service but the food was delicious and a perfect way to end a beach day. HIGHLY recommend the margarita pizza if you love garlic!! My boyfriend and I adored this place and if we lived in south haven we would eat here daily.
